I've only used it twice. on my unit.

I've only used it twice. On my device, the GPS periodically turns off and switches to the time of day. I then have to go to the golf menu where it starts at hole 1. I tried the Neo Ion for my sons and it worked well so I bought it for myself. I'm not sure if mine is defective. I'll try again to be sure. If it still doesn't work, I'll change it.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Very disappointed with the best GPS, finders and accessories

Tried twice (on two different courses) - each time it took about 10 minutes to find the course . Then he lost his GPS position in the front nine in one place and in the back nine in second place - not advancing to the next hole or relocating his location each time. Reset failed. I want to return it but I can't because I was an idiot and expected it to actually work and threw the box away.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Great product, easy to use!

I really like this watch, both in terms of quality and ease of use. I've been using a range finder for a long time, which is cumbersome and not always accurate. It's easy to read, easy to use, and the reload ability is just great. I had problems with the first version of this watch but the second version seems to have solved those problems and after a month of use I am completely satisfied.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Doubtful

Essential golf tool

This watch has completely replaced my laser range finder on the course. This helped me a lot with club selection because I can see the distance to the front and back greens at a glance. I also like that I can get distance to obstacles without having to shoot multiple spots, which helped speed up the club selection process. This watch is great for competition. Since using this watch my average score has dropped by 2 beats.

Pros
  • Cool item
Cons
  • Can't remember

The charger breaks easily!

The watch is ok: good value for money. However - and this is very important - the charger has three "prongs" that attach to the back of the watch for charging. One of the pins - the most important as it sits over the four charging points - is weak. Mine broke in less than a month. I've found this to be a common problem on other sites. Until a new charger is developed I would NOT recommend this watch as a watch without a charger is useless.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥

Bad charger

Doesn't charge right out of the box. i give it back The charger is a claw-like plastic snap-on device that covers the entire back of the watch. I had a Bushnell Neo XS but the screen went black after 4.5 years and over 600 rounds of golf (I play a lot). The Neo charger was a spring clip with two pilot holes it went into. It worked fine. The Ion charger looks too fragile. Accuracy, comfort, ease of use, feature richness and size were ideal for Neo and I expected the same from their new product…

Broke after 6 months due to inconvenient charger

This was my second Bushnell golf watch. The first lasted almost 5 years before digital reading became encrypted and unreadable. That's why I bought iON2. It worked well and was fairly accurate (within 2-3 yards of 150 yards to target). But the clock got darker after 6 months of use. I sent it to Bushnell to see if they would fix it under warranty. Of course I've been traveling without a rangefinder for a few weeks now, I'll have to look for the route markers. Additionally, Bushnell needs to…

Pros
  • Excellent overall specs
Cons
  • Unusable features

Related apps don't work. No tech support

The watch is expected to use a Bluetooth connection with a smartphone via the Bushnell app to provide additional golf hole information and update the watch. You can only use the app if you have an account and you must provide the watch's serial number to register an account. When I did that, it said the SN number was invalid. (This is supposed to be a new watch but I am afraid it is a refurbished watch that the previous owner has already registered). The application includes a phone number and…

  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Still comfortable on the go.

I like it. I get artwork information right on my wrist. No lasers or other metric trinkets to keep up with them as they pass the track, though. It takes a long time to find yourself. Sometimes 5 minutes or more. My other problems: Screen fogging. I tried to take a picture but the sunlight didn't help. A spot less than a dime in diameter appears in the center of the face. It's not bad that it makes the watch unusable, but it's there. If the picture was good you would see it close. 6. My other…
