Works well. Sturdy all-metal construction except for the base which is removable soft plastic to grip the punch and also acts as a scratch guard when this punch is placed on any surface. It has a locking function and a metal ruler slider to keep errors to a minimum.

Great 3 hole punch. It says it can hold 40 sheets and I'm sure I could if I had the strength to push it through that many sheets. I use it for about 20 sheets comfortably. But it's incredibly solid, the guides seem to stay in place, and the holes are crisp and clean, not blurry around the edges. The price is reasonable too. I am very happy.

I am very satisfied with this punch. After going through many minor hits, I feel like I've finally reached the highest level using this one. I've used it to slam stacks as high as my strength will allow without hanging or pulling. I purchased this punch specifically to be adjustable to a 5.5 x 8.5 binding size and I can confirm that it is adjustable. A flathead screwdriver is required and adjustment is made on the side.
