Fits perfectly with Shimano SH-R065 shoes for my Peloton bike. Very happy!

I use these with a pair of Shimano SH-R065 shoes on my Peloton bike. Compared to the Peloton cleats, they give my foot a little more lateral movement when pedaling, which is good for my knees. Screws are no problem for me. I was just making sure I was tightening them well and not over-tightening. Also, I only use them on my Peloton bike, which means I can't speak to their durability when I hit tarmac.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

So happy and now much more enjoyable to ride

My Peloton bike creaked when I got out of the saddle and I tried everything the support team told me to fix it. I decided that I just had to deal with this annoyance and one day when I was looking for an unrelated piece of exercise equipment it popped up in my search. I figured it couldn't hurt to try them as there were a few other reviews saying it helped and I was so lucky that I got 2 rides and not a single squeak. So happy and now it's a much more comfortable ride.

I was annoyed at first because they slide sideways

I bought these spikes for my new Peloton bike. I have used SPD spikes before and they are different from these. At first I was annoyed that they slide back and forth, I thought something was wrong with the spikes. I watched a few videos and got some information about these boots. These boots are called "floating," meaning they specifically slide from side to side to reduce stress on the knees. Nothing wrong with them like other reviews have said, it's just that they have a different…

Works well with the Pelaton bike but loses after 3-4 rides

They worked quite well during my rides on the Pelaton Spin bike. We ride about 3-4 times a week. My problem is that they unscrew and turn on after about 3-4 rides. I tighten them with a battery powered impact drill, but after 2-3 pulls the screws start to loosen. We've had them for about 5 weeks now and I suspect we'll need new screws in the next month or two. Once the screws are loosened, you will hear a metallic thump with every spin of the spin bike. It can be annoying until you start…

Nice Peloton replacement, BUT...

Are you a Peloton rider and having trouble locking and removing your bike pedals? The problem isn't the shoes or the pedals, it's the spikes. Will there be a problem replacing peloton spikes with these foxes? Yes, but not perfect without a little modification. When properly fitted, the Peloton cleats are too tight on the shoe. The Peloton CS asks you to relax the pedal tension, but if you use other shoes or spikes you'll find that they lock in just fine. Even after releasing the tension, the…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
