Quality at price in tools and equipment

Works exactly as described on my 2014 Lexus 350. I used it on a port freight company jack. It fits perfectly in a 3"+ room. Update: I used it once and swore it was lost because I put my tools away and didn't remember what I did with it. Three days later I did accidentally looked under the car and BOOM! It's still stuck under the car. I'm really shocked it didn't fall over after driving 40 miles to and from work for 3 days. Amazing! Lol

Works and protects the undercarriage welds

I should have bought this a long time ago. I bought this to use on my S550 Mustang to jack up the car and change tires. It worked perfectly and I can use it on my other cars and no more bent welds. No more manual jacks to protect welds! A must-have item for car lovers who don't have access to a car lift. The magnet is strong and it takes practice to align the adapter with the floor socket to avoid skewing for a flush placement.

On the first lift I folded two seams. Instead, rubber had to be taken.

A few stitches bent when first lifting the machine. Appropriate thickness rubber would have done better. Hell, I could chop wood and get a better job. Also, the little nylon/delrin thing with the magnets keeps falling out and I have to chase it around the garage to see if it's attached to the underside of the rail seams. This piece is aluminum, so it doesn't hold the magnetic part (I understand it's not magnetic, but magnetism doesn't help in any way).

  • Hard wearing finish

  • Nothing here

Not happy with the fit

I wanted to use this on my 2015 Toyota Sienna minivan. It worked, but not the way I wanted it to. The channel in it is not as deep as the body seam, so the bottom edge of the seam still supports all of the weight, unlike the top of the scissor lift, which swallows the entire seam and lifts the body. In addition, the seam of the transporter is not the same height and has small gaps. The magnet on this device needs to be on the metal almost the entire width of the slot to hold it securely in…

Can travel!

I changed my shield. someone else's tires and checked their brakes with my orange slotted metal jack pad a month ago. work is done. . . nearly. I forgot to remove the fairing from the frame weld! And she walked 3 hours to RI! Anyway, I wanted to buy another metal pad for another socket (the rubber pad I bought ripped after 3 uses...) So I said goodbye to orange and bought another orange and blue pad, one for each Rifle. On her return from 6 hours+ on country roads, city and motorway - and she…

They do their job, but the magnets need to be stronger.

The magnets are not strong enough to easily stick to the frame. With a low-seated Caddy ATS-V, I had to hold it steady with one hand while inflating the low-profile jack until the head of the jack touched the washer. You may get lucky if it's held loose by the magnets, but then you have to hit the head of the pawl dead center or the slightest push will knock it off the rail. With stronger magnets this would be ideal. I also tried putting it on a jack head, inflating the jack and trying to align

Not Fit for Lexus: Tools & Equipment

I assume anyone reading the jack adapter review is tired of using a standard jack and wants to make sure it doesn't damage the welds. I have taken measurements and tried to the best of my ability to determine if this adapter would fit my standard 2008 RX400h before purchasing. On arrival I was annoyed that the plastic insert with magnets made the adapter too quirky (not deep enough) for the Lexus. So I had to pry the insert to increase the depth, losing its main property - being magnetic. The…
