C. S. Osborne Co. Grommet Accessory Review

After a little practice I managed to get good results but it wasn't easy. You have to stuff them very tightly to make them tight. The piece of wood broke fairly quickly so don't expect it to last very long. I used an old 2x4 piece but it was too soft and hard to hit. Speaking of punch, I had to sharpen it once, but it wasn't very difficult.

When I was looking for bushing kits I almost bought a cheap one until I read the review and realized that some of them didn't come with a stamp. It would be a disaster! I had to fix an endless lawn chair that broke. i won't lie The chair netting is fairly strong (except for the seams) and unusable without the punch that comes with it. With punch and a few hits with a rubber mallet for punch and grommets. It worked well. This is truly one of those purchases of a lifetime.

A gasket is a gasket, right? Well, I've just discovered that old thought is wrong. I've been buying these cheap kits and cheap bushings for years with mixed results. But then I finally bought a CS Osborne kit that only used original CS Osborne bushings and wow what a difference! The hole cutter is incredibly sharp.
