Good filter life: Filter

A car needs combustion air, clean air ensures good combustion, good combustion ensures good acceleration, good acceleration makes driving pleasant, a good car ride makes a pleasant commute, a pleasant commute makes good day, a good day is a good week, a good week is a good month, a good month is a good year, a good year is a good life, so this filter will make a good life for you.

Don't pay the store to install!

When changing the oil, the mechanic recommended that my wife change the air filter. They wanted to charge $60! I quickly skimmed this while standing in the store watching youtube videos on how to change the air filter. It's ridiculously easy on a 2011 Jeep Compass. You literally open the box, take out the old one and put in the new one. I'll admit the old one was dirty, but it can't be worth $60. That saved me a lot.

Quality air filter and easy installation

The Fram air filter was in excellent condition and well packaged for my 2014 Jeep Patriot. Installation was really easy and quick. All you need is an 8mm and 10mm socket or Phillips screwdriver for the screws. You will need to remove the 10mm bolt that secures the airbox cover to the frame. The bolts on the airbox itself are 8mm cap screws and you will need a slightly longer bracket for the two rear bolts.
