🔍 Optimized FRAM Air Filter, CA8133 for Honda Vehicle Models Review

Will not buy this item again. The problem is that the gasket that seals the filter twists easily when inserted. This in turn compromises the seal and potentially draws in unfiltered air. without damaging my engine.

Filter has a good filter element but the rubber seal doesn't fit. It warped and couldn't sit right around the filter, I had a hard time installing this filter to make sure it was a snug fit on the intake manifold bracket so air couldn't flow through. I will try another brand next time.

There are few things I can do with my computer controlled cars. Changing the filter myself saves me money at the body shop and allows me to see how the car works. If it's used on a lot of dirt roads, I find it when changing the filter. I've always had good performance from fram filters. I've driven my cars over 200,000 miles and have found that lots of clean air into the engine increases mileage.

I have installed Fram air filters on a 2000 Honda Accord many times. In the past the seals were loosened allowing the cover clips to snap back easily. Released in 2017, this new air filter has a tighter fit and only has one slot left and right in width compared to the two slots on the old version. This design change made it much more difficult to reattach the clips to the cover. Maybe the design was changed due to complaints about seals?

This Fram CA8133 Air Filter is great. I installed it on my 2000 honda accord coupe EX 4cyl and it works great. Last time I changed the oil I was told to change it as it was badly clogged. Of course they offered to install a new one for $39! Unbelievable price for such an easy installation! For about $10 and 5 minutes you can install this air filter. The filter arrived on time and quickly as it was the main item. This filter fits my 2002 Accord SE 4 cylinder perfectly and works well. in the best case. By that I mean when it's in place there really isn't any play compared to the premium Sto air filter I had before noticing a difference in play Attach the last clamp of 4 like it was a washer haha. It's not difficult, a 5-year-old kid who takes a few minutes can do it in less than a few minutes, which can make sure you're NO VACUUM LEAK there.
