Good engine air filter

Fits well in a 2003 Honda Civic, I personally have not noticed any increase in fuel consumption. The box with the filter arrived completely damaged, but I couldn't find any damage to the shipping box, so that must have happened during packaging.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Pros
  • Rugged Construction
Cons

Good filter in Air Filters & Accessories

CA8911 Fits 2001 Honda Civc. I usually buy them at Wal-Mart. Revain is cheaper this time. Never had a problem with them. Fits good. When I change it, I see all kinds of dirt it picked up: dirt, bugs, and leaves. A recommendation for the new Civic filter changer: use anti-seize lubricant on the screws/bolts before replacing the cover. on the. They rust relatively quickly.

Pros
  • Pleasant

Dirty Cleaning: Replacement Parts

Up until last year I never changed the filter in my car and didn't notice any improvement. I was expecting at least an improvement in fuel economy, but it's stayed about the same. The filter I also had was very old, my car is a 2005 Civic with 90000 miles. I drove about 35mpg before and after, it might be a symptom of something else. I mean it's probably overkill how often you need to replace them.

Pros
  • That's Amazing
Cons
  • Interval

This filter is ideal for a 2003 Honda Civic LX 1.7L D17A1 engine. / Styrofoam on studs for at least an hour. Also, try not to use too much since your filter is nearby and you don't need extra contaminants. The reason for the ingress of oil/foam is that these bolts rust incredibly easily and when you first change the filter the bolts rust. The filter is only installed in one way and is very easy to assemble.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Hard to say

poorly made with fit issues. Shame on you, Fram, for your greed!

I've been using this filter for years but my last one was terrible. the entire plastic frame was offset slightly at an angle. Plastic feels different. The gaskets did not seat well in the filter housing. While holding the filter in my hand I tried to bend it to the right angle and the whole filter SIMPLY BREAKS in half. An old frame filter I removed from the car I had to pry out by stepping on it and it still didn't break in half. It appears that the old ones were made of softer plastic and…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
