Compact and strong - shocks, struts and suspension

When my deck was renewed, the 4' x 5' box that houses the pressure tank and fabric softener was also renewed. The lid is insulated and covered in metal roofing material and weighs around 70 pounds. We used these shock absorbers to make it easier to lift and to make sure it didn't collapse when I leaned over to turn the external faucet on and off on the box. They're working great so far and hopefully just as well in the winter.

Decent quality, strong, very strong braces

Well I like them! They did a great job helping lift the heavy lid of the CNC cabinet. I was concerned that the brackets that came with it would be strong enough for the advertised 300N (some users who have bought other strong lifters have complained that they bend on first use so I also have a similar set to be safe bought from another supplier but they have taken a month to arrive even though they cost about 15% more and don't look as pretty as these Arans). You don't have to worry, however…

My initial review wasn't great but thanks to Mina from customer service I was a happy customer.

I've never worked with gas struts but thought it would be an easy way to raise the desk when using it. I didn't research them at all and ordered my first pair. The wrong way, they were too strong and disappointing. Because of this disappointment I wrote a not so good review. Arana customer support then emailed me asking them to help fix the issue. Fixed bulkhead door works great

I repaired a broken bulkhead torsion spring by installing this gas damper. The door now opens and closes easily. Before the repair, the door had no support and clapped when closed, and the door became heavy when opened. To prevent the gas shock absorber from cleaning the door partition, it had to be mounted on spacer blocks. The cushion blocks were 4" x 4" x 4" blocks that I cut out of 4x4s. In order to have full travel when the door opens and closes, I had to install in a very specific spot…
