Works on my HP Specter X360

Works well on my HP Specter X360. I can run 2 extra monitors in extended mode, total 3 monitors showing different screens including laptop. The loading function works well, with the exception of the HP pop-up stating that HP accessories are recommended, but this only happens the first time the PC is switched on and is not a big deal. I wish it came with USB 3.0 instead of 2.0, but they're good for peripherals like printers, mice, and keyboards. I only use one USB 3.0 port on my laptop with a…

It just works in laptop accessories

Lots of patchy or buggy USB-C hubs that don't fully support the protocol or just aren't designed very well. This one just works. Either with my Note 9 to Dex (USB-C) or my HP Laptop (TB3) or any other device compatible with this type of adapter, it just works. My laptop has an issue with every dock I've tried where it doesn't work. t detects USB ports or connected external monitors 75% of the time without disconnecting and reconnecting 10 times. This device works fine about 90% of the time and…

Excellent docking station: computers and accessories

I needed a cheap docking station for my work, which was released by the second generation Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga so that I could use a real keyboard and monitors in my home office. So far this has worked great. With a single USB-C connection to the laptop, it charges the battery and drives two 27-inch Acer G277HL Full HD (1920 x 1080) monitors via standard HDMI cables. As a bonus, it also charges my iPhone 8+ and supports wireless keyboard and mouse. Amazing - all over a single USB-C…

great linux support

I was able to turn on two 1080p monitors (via HDMI-DVI cable) and run them at 75Hz each (via xrandr). It worked out of the box and unlike DisplayLink adapters uses an internal GPU (via MST) and can run in portrait mode (which is what I use it for). I was also able to connect a mouse and keyboard to the additional USB ports. I have a Huawei Matebook X branded version with a half baked USB-C port (not Thunderbolt) and this worked fine with my Manjaro Linux. Thank you Cable Questions and Amazon…

Pleasant when serving. I've been using it for a few months now with a Thinkpad p52s with dual 21.5" 1080p displays and an external keyboard. It has been disconnected several times this week and I had to reboot it to get it reconnecting to the dock. Update: Not working as advertised.

I have an Acer Switch Alpha 12 (Surface Clone) that I've been trying to figure out a way to add two extra monitors to for a year or two. I bought several products that didn't work or only worked for a few days. This product worked right out of the box and allowed me to add a Dell 3218 NH monitor and a Samsung 40 inch LCD TV. This allowed me to stream and work on spreadsheets at the same time. Дополнительные функции разъема Ethernet и USB A Для меня это плюсы.Я добавил 60 Вт Anker PD для зарядки

USB-C alternate mode required - manufacturer documentation required

The product does not work with laptops with USB-C basic mode connection. It's immediately recognized by Windows 10 but goes through the driver installation process and never connects the displays. A little research shows that this dock requires USB-C video support, but many laptop models don't have this feature. We tested a 2-year old HP EliteBook 840 G3 and a 3-month old HP Pavilion x360 2-in-1. Both had the same problem. Unsurprisingly, the manufacturer claims to have tested only select Dell…

Good product but needs better support

UPDATE: After two weeks of use I hated it. No matter what I did, wiring was impossible and my workstation looked like a rat's nest of wires. Also, I had to disconnect and reconnect the Thunderbolt cable multiple times when connecting my computer to the dock because the mouse and keyboard would work but the screen wouldn't, or the screen and keyboard would work and the mouse wouldn't, etc. I returned it and bought a Dell E-Port Advanced Replicator ($70) which was just what I needed to keep my…
