Good product in dogs

The product itself works well. But the stainless steel is peeling (poor quality) and there are visible signs of rust on the mandrel.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Not fashionable

A weatherproof limb could be used

We've had ours for about a month now and the peg line has already started to rust and seize. Therefore, when the dog walks around the peg, the leash becomes tangled.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Dull packaging

Durable and easy to use

I use these on my dogs when we are out and they need protection outside. They are strong and easily screwed into the ground. My dogs are between 30 and 40 pounds and they are definitely strong enough to hold them securely on a leash.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Zero

Easy to apply to the dog

Bought for our 35lb Beagle/Labrador mix and works very well. Easy to install and no problem for staying in the ground. The cord is very durable. The only criticism is that the cable can easily get caught in the top triangle loop as there is a small gap. Overall happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Very good product: learning and behavior guide

I like how durable the cable is. I have a small dog, but over time the thinner cables break even on a small dog. It's more durable but not too heavy for my dog to move. This is the perfect length as I also have a small front yard and don't want to get too close to the road. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Keeps his Border Collie in the yard

I have a Border Collie (3 years old, about 40lbs) who can jump high. This product allowed me to keep it out as I was building a fence which would eventually make this product unnecessary for us! Once I broke through the top layer of earth, it was fairly easy to drive the stake deeper. 10 feet might not be enough for a long-term solution, but it was ok for my purposes. I would only recommend this for medium or smaller dogs as my dog can wiggle the peg if he pulls hard enough.

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • Will write later
