Good response on grass, I also noticed a more direct drive compared to my regular driver slice. In fact, because of my swing speed, my golf coach told me to use a softer ball and I wasn't disappointed.

Practice on a small 9-hole course lined with trees and OB. I was constantly losing my white balls and decided to try these bright orange balls to see if my losing ball problems improved. They fly very well, feel soft and since playing with them I haven't lost a single ball. I doubt I'll use them when playing with other players, but for solo play they work great, feel great and fly great.

For the last few years I've been playing with colored balls just for convenience. In most cases, you don't have to worry about your ball being mixed up with other players. I've played with the Srixon Z Star Ball and they work great. Now I think I prefer her to Shrikson. I like the matte finish and the green sphere strikes me as even brighter than the yellow Shrikson. I'm a relatively new golfer, average at best, and my biggest issue is stability. I played a round with these balls and had good to great shots all day. The irons and short game were great too. I understand the ball works as well as you hit it, but I've played with cheaper balls (averaging $1 per ball, that's $1.75) and I can feel the difference as they come out of the racquet. Faster swing speed I like the Callaway Warbird for par 4s and 5s (it's also cheaper than the Super Soft). At the same time, Super Soft is ideal for throws on the field. Holds up very well in the green. These balls have great feel on the face of the club and are great for short irons, pitching and hitting.
