They used to make a soothing collar out of a powder that sifted off when you put it on your cat. They replaced it with a plastic collar, which is just as useful as a regular piece of plastic. I have a very dominant cat and he likes to threaten other kittens. He always wore a soothing collar and it worked great. The new version is useless and expensive. Don't waste money.

Seems to have a calming effect on my cats. They didn't get along before, and now they seem to be getting along a little better — although they're still not big fans of each other. I would like to point out that the collar does not smell like any other soothing collar I have purchased in the past. It must be lavender because my cats smell like old women going to church on a Sunday morning. I think it could be worse. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm wrong about the reviews, but with these collars I just had to. After surviving a house fire and having a temporary visit to the vet, my poor cats were so stressed. I received these collars in hopes that the horse would improve. These collars radically changed them for the better, stopped walking around, meowed constantly and were otherwise so clearly upset. Now they constantly purr, lie still, relax and don't meow constantly. I cannot recommend these collars enough.

I very rarely leave reviews for things I don't like, but I find this product to be a bit dangerous. First, it smells very strongly of lavender. Very strong. It may calm the person down, but I don't think it helps the cat. I'm concerned about the chemicals used to make the smell so strong.
