Terrible Performance, Don't Waste Money

I was disappointed with this RV plumbing part. My analysis of this product showed that it didn't perform the way it was meant to. It did not provide strong enough water pressure to effectively rinse the tanks. The only positive aspect I can mention is that it was easy to install. Unfortunately, the cons vastly outweighed the pros and I wouldn't recommend wasting money on this automotive accessory.

Pros
  • Efficiently cleans and flushes out debris from RV holding tanks and sewer hoses, saving time and effort.
Cons
  • Requires a hose connection, limiting its use in areas without easy access to water.

Not like before.

The original design used a plastic female hose fitting that became brittle and broke = bad after a few seasons. However, the nozzle head ALWAYS turned = good. New design uses metal female hose connector = good. However, the nozzle head may or may not rotate = bad. When compared side-by-side, the original design had much tighter fitting tolerances. The premise of how the nozzle rotates depends on the action of the jet on the walls of the tank and the eccentrics, the plastic lugs on the nozzle…

Pros
  • The easiest, most hygienic way to clean out the RV sump
Cons
  • Replacement available

2 bought; only one seems to spin reliably enough; tight fit is "a "

First, when they work, they are very useful. However, I bought 2 (one for black water and one for gray water) and checked the nozzles on my garden hose before installing. Only one seems to rotate fairly regularly, and even that one gets blocked at times. The one that was stuck from the start wobbled when you twisted it with your fingers to push it, but that obviously won't be possible once it's installed. I chose to install these because, even when not rotating, they spray almost 360 degrees of

Pros
  • Removing and flushing out stubborn dirt build-up and odor-causing particles after emptying the tank
Cons
  • Not everything fits
