If you have a lower ceiling or soffit, be prepared to cut a sheet metal first. Needless to say, generally a good unit. However, the attention to detail (fit and finish) could be improved. Especially when you consider that this hood cost almost $400. The entire unit is black with the exception of two screws which are visible in the fully assembled system. See my photos.

Great product! This ventilation works very well and, like exhaust fans, is quite quiet. We really like how it looks and it's very easy to clean. Perhaps as important as the product is excellent customer service. One of the brackets holding the stainless steel filter cover is broken. I contacted the seller and after a few hours he informed me that a replacement mount was on the way. I will definitely buy from this seller again.

Wow! I couldn't be happier with this hood! Nice, easy to use, simple installation guide. My kitchen looks great! Update: I've had this hood for a few months now. This hood has made my life so much easier. In my opinion, there are no cons with this pan. The extractor hood works very well, it has 4 fan modes and you no longer have to wait long when cooking certain foods. He takes it straight out of the room and helps purify the air. I haven't cleaned the filter yet, but it's very easy to access.

Exactly what I was hoping for on the outside and not that loud. It has good odor removal. The finish is pleasant. I hired experienced people for the installation and it took 5 hours, 3 workers and You Tube to figure it out but in the end everything looks perfect. The lights are bright. I understand I get what you pay for, but even the more expensive ones shouldn't cost nearly the same as you do. Same goes for these, but what will you do if stainless steel doesn't work for you and the market for black or black island stainless steel hoods sucks. There aren't really many other economical options including this brand. Crumpled in the corner, only noticed upon installation and not bad enough to justify tearing it down and returning it.

First arrival dented. I called and was asked to take it to the UPS store and ship it back. Too heavy and big for me to make it. So I ordered UPS. Cost me $$$$$. Finally the second came. Same dent, same spot. This whole ordeal left me weeks behind and it took me another $20 to send it back and who said the next one wouldn't be damaged. I was refunded $100. Unit looks good where it hasn't been damaged. It also came with rusty frame parts that I had to constantly email to have them replaced within two weeks. We sent photos of where we just opened the box and here they are, rusty. So I didn't even bother to replace the block as it took so long just to replace the rusty parts and we didn't see the dented corner until it was installed; 2 days after the new frame arrives. Installation seemed easy, but that's because I just watched the contractor do it.

Just installed. Pros: Well painted exterior finish with decent material strength. Cons: Support bracket and hardware needs a serious overhaul. Horrible installation instructions and YouTube videos don't get much better. All fasteners (self-tapping screws, nuts and bolts) are undersized and can be made with fewer larger bolts and nuts. Ditch those tiny 5/8" machine screws and nuts (4 per corner) and you'll end up with fewer and fewer nuts/bolts - and the nuts should be lock nuts. At 50 pounds…
