Review on Experience Enhanced Tank Cleaning with Camco 40126 Tornado Rotary Tank Rinser & Hose by Thong Lopez

First, when they work, they are very useful. However, I bought 2 (one for black water and one for gray water) and checked the nozzles on my garden hose before installing. Only one seems to rotate fairly regularly, and even that one gets blocked at times. The one that was stuck from the start wobbled when you twisted it with your fingers to push it, but that obviously won't be possible once it's installed. I chose to install these because, even when not rotating, they spray almost 360 degrees of water. So my guess is that even when closed they help push out solids and give your tanks that extra flush we all need. However, this unique product concept is fatally flawed and does not function reliably as advertised. Oh, and like the others, the clear hose that came with it was badly kinked - on both - restricting water flow a bit. It's a wonderful attempt by Camco, but like other Camco products, it's hit or miss in the build quality and efficiency of the advertised features. Buy with caution or just settle for non-rotating versions from Camco or other vendors. One more word of caution: Pre-drilling mounting bolt holes on your tanks is not recommended, although the instructions recommend it. The material of your tank is usually soft plastic and the screws remove the holes easily. Pre-drilling doesn't help. Plan to use lots of silicone to make sure it stays!
