Exactly what I needed!

I use it every night to help me climb onto Murphy's bed in my Class B RV, which is a bit big for me. In the morning I can fold it up when I fold my bed and it takes up almost no space where it's on the side. It's very light because it feels stable under me, and it doesn't move when I step on it (or try to push off with my foot). It's nice to have you there to accomplish other things because you don't even know it's there until you need it. Great deal at $10!

  • Few competitors

Not the first but our best

My (little) wife uses it to climb onto the running board of my new 4X4 and then into the seat. The good thing about it, apart from its durability, is that it's slightly taller and stronger than our previous folding steps, making it easier to get into the truck, and there's the fact that it has a non-slip surface to stand on. that inspire trust. Love the fact that it folds up and tucks under their seat or under the back seat of the crew cab. Camco hit another home run with this one!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Protection

This has to be one of the worst products for this item

This has to be one of the worst products for this item. It was difficult to close and the hinges stuck together so badly they popped out of alignment. It was so hard to close that we just left it open the whole time. If you're looking for a step away from this product, you'll be so happy you did. Finally broken! I was so happy when it happened. I found one that was better, simpler, and just as durable. This product is not worth your time. Well, if you want to get angry, this is really something

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Great little portable stool

This little stool is very strong, very light and takes up very little space when folded. We have one for our jeep wrangler to help my wife get in and out. She has a hip replacement and suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, so a Jeep goes a long way for her. It helps. We also have one for our motor home which I use while seated to hook up water, sewage, electricity etc. It's a lot easier on that old man's lap. The small size allows me to just toss it in the back of the jeep after my wife gets in…

difficult conditions. Appearance

This running board feels very solid and should hold up well. I only gave it 3 stars because I have several cheaper models from other sellers (although they don't feel "heavy", they all hold up well too). The "problem" I have with this is that it PUSHES YOUR FINGERS HARD unless you lift or fold it VERY gently. Small cheap ones (from other sellers) "might" pinch your fingers, but they seem to be made differently and not as "dangerous" as these. If it wasn't such a problem I would RETURN it and…

Requires lubrication, then folds easily! Good product!

I love this folding stool! We needed a larger slab than usual and this stool meets the need for a disabled vehicle access solution. Lubricant and found this one that completely solves the problem with no plastic issues. Just make sure to spray all 9 joints inside and out so it gets into all the crevices of all the joints and work on folding and unfolding before it dries to make sure the lube is in place. I chose this *dry* lube after purchasing 3 different evaluation products…
