For the price this buffer/staple is well designed and works well. The buffer side is very flat and very well roughened. The sewing wheel does a good job of applying the patch.

This is great for occasional use but if you have a large area or more than 1 tire a month you will need a pneumatic buffering tool to hold the tires prepare interior coating for sealing. When air isn't available or cost is an issue, this works. Ideal for home or yard use

I got this buffer to have a slightly lighter version for motorbike transport. It's a lot lighter than my STEELMAN that I have in the garage. This turned out better than expected for two reasons: The roller plate is wider than expected. It has two panels next to each other. The discs roll better than I expected, although there are no bearings or anything. I don't know if it will survive 100x use. But if I have to use it 100 times, I've got bigger problems than wearing out my buffer. I'm happy…
