I connected the cable to my Nikon CoolPix L840 and lost the display. I don't know what happened, but my camera is on its way to a Nikon service center in Illinois. I receive an estimate that I pay to repair my camera. That's why you got a star. It should have been zero!

Although the description says it fits the Nikon Coolpix L330, it doesn't. Since the company doesn't offer returns, I'm now stuck with a $5 cable that doesn't fit my camera, and I need to spend extra money on an SD card reader, which really helps me when transferring pictures from my camera to mine helps As this is the second cable I bought it doesn't fit.

This cable is an excellent replacement for the original Nikon cable. I bought a regular cable before buying a replacement birugear and it took less than a week. I need to take pictures for work and save them separately by location. A good control cable is very important to me. I love the cable so much I bought a second one to have at home.
