I love the trivet. This greatly simplifies the movement of the stone. At first I was concerned about putting the wooden handle in the oven or on the grill, but it worked. Wire brush is fine.

Was a gift to my son. He called me and said it was the best gift. They cooked the salmon and said it was the best salmon they had ever eaten. They live in CA. They often eat salmon. So impressed. The product contains a square salt plate and is very strong, but the box says it can be placed on a grill. I would like to warn users against placing this product on the grill. Now we only have 1 pen. After using this product on our gas grill (which really only has 1 on/off setting) the second handle turned to ash and fell off. Wooden handles cannot withstand the heat of the grill. We have used the product on a gas stove and although it was a mess it worked well. I'm not sure if there would be…
