Campagnolo JAGWIRE Road Shop KIT - Comprehensive 🚴 Brake & Shifter Cable and Housing Set in Black Review

Available in two sizes, one for shifters and one for brakes. You have to figure out what's what, but not too hard. Good quality cable and housing - very smooth operation and I didn't feel any stretch during my first short ride. I need my other bikes repaired and will probably buy the same set again.

Used with the 1st generation Campy Chorus 7 speed groupset on a vintage steel frame road bike. A little tight although the cable guides worked well. Much smoother than OE cables; For the first time I can adjust the brakes correctly with an aerodynamic cable guide. With enough lugs for the cases and almost enough lugs for the cables; I would like some extra crimp wire ends.

This kit provides enough internal cables and housing to replace the front and rear brakes on most road bikes with Campi calipers. You have to cut to length (cut too much, it's too short, too long and you won't F&R) and figure out which pair is which. not TOO difficult, but why make a guessing game out of it? The new ones work perfectly and appear to be of good quality. The time will show. I am happy. Expensive cable but cheap repair. :-)

I thought I would save money by using Jagwire instead of Campagnolo. But they are such a poor substitute that I decided to eat up the cost and throw them away. The problem is that the brake cables slip, possibly due to the slick texture. If I squeeze the lever multiple times, the cable comes loose no matter how tight the anchor bolts are tightened.
