Update: After wearing the shoes for another week, the ankle has softened and feels good. These are ultra light shoes. I spent three weeks exploring the city and drove an average of 10 miles a day. The cobblestones took some wear off the shoes but my feet were fine. The cut on my ankle is uncomfortable and sharp.
