Amazing Price - Fast and Super Accurate

I like to use these to check areas on cars before polishing and detailing. It has always amazed me how much thickness can vary, especially on newly painted cars. It's also a good idea to have it with you when buying used cars. This model is small enough to carry around and I love it. My friend also works in a coat shop and I took him to play. The crew was very impressed, as was I at how fast and accurate this model is. I am very satisfied with her and can only recommend her.

Solid value, gives me enough confidence. Precise Accuracy TBD

Pros: price, ease of use, easy calibration. It seems pretty accurate. Cons: None yet, although I don't have a more expensive sensor to compare this to. It needs to be calibrated before each use, but I wouldn't call it a major inconvenience by any means. This device gives me just enough confidence when cutting one step paint or when cutting harder on new clear coats that I won't crack. Dye. Might be good enough for DIY paint touch ups

This works well for me with a 'factory'/fresh calibration to measure paint thickness on my cars. All of these measurements are in the 5 mil (0.005 inch/125 micron) range and this device appears to be fairly repeatable for these measurements, allowing you to detect a thin spot or swept/taped area with reasonable confidence. I haven't had much success sizing for different thicknesses, but I didn't bother to work really hard. What I noticed is that the measurements for the 5 mil test film were…
