Purchased in January 2018. After a year and a half of ordinary home cooking, all handles began to crack. For the price, I really expected a longer lifespan. They weren't insanely expensive, but they definitely weren't cheap. I've had $80 Walmart sets that have held up better than these. Strongly disappointed.

Sharp beautiful knife set. This knife set replaces our old Wüstof Grand Prix set that we had for over 17 years. It's definitely time to replace the old set (even with regular sharpening - wet stone grinding + buffing). The new knives are razor sharp and easy to prepare. c, easy to wash and store.
