Everything about the purchase suits me, a very necessary product.

I don’t know if I would have bought such a lens for myself or not, but I was very lucky - for good work as a dealer, one supplier gave me such a miracle. Management knew about my passion for photography. Since then, I shoot all objects on a white background only with this optics. And I have to take photos not only for the family album, but also for photobanks. If someone wants to see the result, just open my portfolio in the 2022 stock - https://lori. Ru/Win - here you will see how good the…

Pros
  • Sharpness is beyond praise!
Cons
  • However, the price is not for everyone.

Great macro lens for flower photography

Bought this lens for my R6. I love photographing flowers and use a Canon 100 F/2.8 (not L) macro lens. This 180 macro delivers very good colors and contrasts. I really like this rendering of the image where the flowers emerge and are isolated from the background. The R6 IBIS really helps reduce motion blur, in my hands it can offer 2.5-3.5 stops of image stabilization. I have enough to take clear photos indoors. Autofocus isn't bad if you choose the right range for scenes: macro (0.48m - 1.5m)…

Pros
  • Advanced Ultrasonic Monitor (USM) for fast, quiet autofocus
Cons
  • Can be damaged

Outstanding lens best camera lens

I have owned Canon 50mm and 100mm macro lenses for many years, they are excellent lenses and they are much cheaper. If you want to capture insects and other small, shy creatures outdoors, the 180mm macro lens is the right choice. Optically, the lens is excellent in every respect. The "slow" focusing is a function of the wide range of lens focal lengths, usually manual focusing is used for macro photography - for normal photography you can use the focus limiter to reduce the focusing time. Pros
  • Focus range from 1.57ft to infinity; supports EF Extender 1.4x and 2x
Cons
  • Low repairability

Excellent macro lens for moving subjects

I used this lens or the Canon 100mm F/2.8 because it had image stabilization. However, most macro photography really needs to be on a tripod with a trigger, so the lack of IS didn't matter. One thing about macro photography that requires using a tripod is focus overlay. Since you need to shoot multiple exposures with different focus, a tripod is a must. Therefore, image stabilization is not that important in macro photography. The big advantage of this lens is that it doesn't startle the…

  • 3 UD glass elements and internal floating system work together to ensure minimal aberrations
