Buy ink from the manufacturer, they are more expensive but how can you price for quality. I really don't care if people buy cheaper fake brand names, that's their business and something in their workflow will suffer as a result. In this case, as in most others, you get what you pay for.

I have been using the Canon Pixma Pro 100 printer for many years and always recommend this ink for standard quality prints. You may pay a little more for branded inks, but their value is clear as they are specifically designed to work with the Pixma Pro Series printer. Simply put, you can't go wrong.

Started refilling my own - had trouble telling the difference between refillable and Canon inks. This pack was only purchased to have additional replacement cartridges. For those who aren't commercial photographers selling 70+ years of museum-quality archival photography, using refillable cartridges is a ridiculously easy solution. OEM ink is essentially blackmail.

Canon ink - the best. I like to order them from Revain because they are always available. I used to have to run to stationery stores when I was broke and they sometimes ran out of stock. It was unsettling, especially when it was needed by a certain date. Now I just order and have them ready. They also have great prices. When you use an expensive copier, you don't want to use a cheap product in it. If Canon requires it, buy a Canon.

Over the past year the printer has indicated an empty cartridge several times when I actually had half a tank left. Canon support informed me that there was still excess ink in the cartridge so it would not absorb air or create lines in my photos. I don't quite understand why it takes half a tank, especially when the ink is so expensive. However, I was told something of a hack.
