I bought this printer because the ink is cheaper than HP or Lexmark. I took great care of it, used it minimally and when it came time to move I put it back in the box so it was well protected. I only got 3 of these, a DOA. Bought one for me and one for my brother and they both work. I've had my own for over a year so my rating is based on home use over that period. The printer crashed with error B200 (Printhead caught fire). I rarely print anything and when I print it's black and white, but this printer eats up all those very expensive color and black cartridges even when you're not using them. This is a big scam and Canon is not alone in this. I bought it for its scan and copy capabilities and sadly gave away my 10 year old HP inkjet printer which still worked perfectly.
