These cartridges are described by Revain as new original Canon cartridges. My printer detected that these cartridges were used (see photo) and did not print correctly with them. They seemed empty from the moment of installation. I tried to overwrite them, but the ink control chip in the cartridge determined that they had run out. This is genuine Canon ink. or so they say. Worked on my Canon printer. I wish Canon inks were cheaper. Since I use Canon ink, it might be cheaper to buy a NEW (discounted) printer that comes already filled with ink every time I need ink.

The ink fits my Canon printer. As expected. No problems with the printer other than these. I wish Canon Ink was priced higher than any other conventional ink. Also, ink tanks aren't transparent black, so unlike transparent generics, you can't see how much ink you actually have. Canon ink has slightly better quality and much better fade resistance for archival photographic prints.

I love my Canon. Never had any problems, but every time I don't buy directly from USA.CANON website I get nervous. How do I know that XL ink tanks are actually XL? The box says they are, but the inkwells themselves are not. You need to? I will examine it. The description also states that it is a combination pack of ink tanks AND photo paper. I have ink tanks but no photo paper.

While I like the quality of these Canon inks - they print both photos and documents quite well - I am disappointed with the lifespan of these ink cartridges. I put them in the printer about 10 weeks ago and as the photo shows the ink is running low. I don't print many documents. I estimate that in the time I've installed this set I've printed less than 200 pages, mostly in black and white. I love the printer so I will keep it and order XL cartridges from now on. .

If you are using the Canon TS 9120 printer you will need 6 bottles of ink. This combo pack contains only 4 inks (3 photo color inks plus black pigment for documents. You still need to buy 281 black and 281 PB to refill all 5 photo inks. I have no interest in the one in this "combo" if this pack doesn't even have all of them The CanonInk printer ink pack (2091C006) on Revain contains all 5 photo inks, but it makes sense to buy the 2091C006 combo.
