Good for a hard dump!

Do not buy this printer! I've been using printers for 30 years. This is by far the worst printer in terms of quality, ease of use, ability to change procedures and inability to read the screen! It didn't work well with the cartridges that came with it, so I put in new genuine Canon cartridges. It still doesn't print. Well, yesterday I installed a new cartridge. Still does not work! If you're trying to use wireless you can't as you have to be at the printer to confirm the paper size being used…

I hate this printer so much

I hate this printer so much. I would say the print quality is decent and the scan quality is excellent. BUT (and this is a big but) it's a common ink eater and has problems all the time. Often clogged. Only in a few days. It's constantly annoying and the display is hard to read (it's under my desk and I have to use my phone's flashlight function to read the display because it's so dark). Basically, it's a constant headache. I chose this printer after doing research and seeing consumer reviews…

Don't buy it you lousy junk of slow old fashioned technology

There are so many disappointing things in this junk. (1) UI interaction is completely hopeless, it's incredibly slow and keeps saying "Please wait a while". -- Serious? (2) Difficult to find helpful troubleshooting documentation, even on Canon's own website. (3) After a short start-up, the radio connection could not be restored. The printer says it's connected, my computer says it's not. I've tried everything. (4) In a short connection time I printed a page of text and everything turned out…

Crap printer good for printer ink and toner

This is the second of these printers that I have ordered. I've had the first one for a few years and it worked really well until the paper feed became too loose and stopped feeding the printer. As I had 4 new ink cartridges left I just wanted a compatible ink printer and this is the only one I could find. I had exactly the same luck with my last one, so I was sure I would buy exactly the same as before. This turned out to be a bad decision. Since the order we have only had problems, mainly with

Amazingly bad photo quality!

I have always printed my photos and have loved my latest Canon printer (Canon PIXMA MX712). The last printer stopped working when an alarm popped up telling me to turn off the printer immediately and call for service. It was 3 years old and I had a second, much older HP printer that died about a month before Canon. I was desperate for a new printer for simple tasks, so I ordered this one. It was a lot cheaper than the ones I've had in the past, but unfortunately MUCH more expensive than the…
