Review on Canon Products MX532 Wireless Printer by Matt Tebow

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Amazingly bad photo quality!

I have always printed my photos and have loved my latest Canon printer (Canon PIXMA MX712). The last printer stopped working when an alarm popped up telling me to turn off the printer immediately and call for service. It was 3 years old and I had a second, much older HP printer that died about a month before Canon. I was desperate for a new printer for simple tasks, so I ordered this one. It was a lot cheaper than the ones I've had in the past, but unfortunately MUCH more expensive than the current listing price). The reviews seemed decent enough at the time (although I've noticed that the percentage of negative reviews has increased significantly since then, and I really liked the quality of the photos that came out on my latest Canon printer. This printer was completely hassle-free set up and I was delighted to get a working printer again, however I made the mistake of not checking the quality of the photos soon after purchase because in all my years of printing photos I've never had a Serious problem (at least 18 years and 6 printers), I It never occurred to me that the quality of the photos would be an issue, so when Christmas approached and it was time to print the gifts, I encountered the WORST image quality I've never seen one in my life The colors are absolutely horrible, with large areas of no color and a bright yellow cast after I just got both ink cartridges en exchanged. I didn't understand the printer setup until now. Photos are so appallingly bad that I can't believe I invested in them and given my experience I have a hard time believing that anyone could print quality photos. I've tried all the maintenance tools available multiple times and tried to print dozens of photos. I am appalled at the results! I will send one of the original photos and then a scanned copy. I printed it on high quality photo paper and scanned it on a very high resolution printer.
