The perfect product for any user!

The lens was borrowed for inspection purposes. It's cheap, simple to use (fixed + fixed aperture), compact for its size, and surprisingly light (feels lighter than the RF50 1.2 in the hand, perhaps owing to mass distribution). To my satisfaction, the photo turned out well.

Pros
  • Features: low pricing, good photo quality, small size, and portability
Cons

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

The lens was taken for a test from the owner. Lightweight (feels lighter than the RF50 1.2 in the hand, probably due to mass distribution), easy to handle (fixed + fixed aperture), relatively compact, relatively inexpensive. I was pleased with the quality of the photo.

Pros
  • Lightweight, compact, good photo quality, price

Good prime length, suitable for camera lenses

I have spent many hours photographing nature with this quality lens. Lightweight, excellent sharpness even with heavy framing. I've already framed a few photos. The only complaint is that there should be instructions on how it works. I was stumped at first until I found someone's blog about it. A simple circuit must be included. The camera software also needs to be updated. I also figured out how to do it online.

Good value for what it was designed for

This lens performs well in good light, although its performance in dark conditions is limited. Cameras that fit everyone have excellent high ISO capabilities. My RP sample, 600 ISO 1600 1/500, is slightly clipped at about 17 feet. The image was captured in RAW format and processed to the best of my knowledge (I'm not an expert). This lens requires the user to relearn some of the things that guided their previous methods, but it can deliver decent results for a fraction of the cost of larger…

The RF600 does not disappoint.

I doubted the f11 lens would be useful but decided to give it a try. The price seemed very reasonable. I was very surprised by my results. Of course, you'll need to use the lens in good light, and even then shoot at fairly high ISOs, but the results will be pretty good. Image stabilization combined in the lens, in my case with IBIS in the R5, done by hand, doable up to 1/60 with good sharpness. The lens is not an "L" lens and the build quality is fine. Very good for what you pay. I wish they…

This is a very slow lens with very limited uses.

I liked the weight and size of the lens. I bought this lens to shoot eagles in the nest and in flight. This lens takes good distance shots, but requires a monopod or tripod. Focuses very slowly and only when the target is exactly in the center of the frame, limiting your composition. It does, however, allow you to take photos at distances beyond the range of the 70mm to 200mm lens without adding much extra weight. I decided to keep this lens until I could afford a faster zoom. You'll likely…

Good so far/not for everyone

Received the lens today and only took a few shots but I like what I see. I will update this review after using it for a while. Unfortunately, the price and long focal length will attract a lot of people who don't know how to use it because they don't understand the basics of photography. If you can't clearly define reciprocity in terms of photography, don't know the exposure triangle, don't understand the math, etc., then you probably won't like this lens. This is not a criticism of the lens…

Perfect accessory for Canon R5

I think this is a great lens for Canon RF mount cameras and I am very happy with my purchase. I had a lot of fun using it with the Canon R5, as you can see from the examples I've posted. The Canon RF600/11 in combination with the Canon R5 is not too heavy to take with you on frequent trips and it does not become a nuisance even after 1-2 hours of carrying. Most of the images I have posted with this review are stills of full screen images. The excellent optics of this lens and the 40 MP of the…

This is the goalkeeper. the best lenses

This is the first 600mm lens you can actually hold in your hands, which is a plus for hobbyists. It only weighs 2 pounds and is a good balance for my Canon RP camera. The OS system works well. I can understand why this is not a pro lens as STM and mirrorless focusing are not fast enough and F11 is too weak for pros. The lens is also not suitable for all weather conditions. But these applications are not mission-critical for most bird lovers. If you're looking for a lens that's easy to take off…
