If you are going to buy - think 10 times. The lens is good, but focused on the very specific needs of 0.001% of photographers - you need to clearly understand why you need it. I am an architect and architect. photographer, but even I didn’t buy it - I rented itcommplete with Kenon 5 MK2 for acomuple of shoots. In general, I am a Nikonist to the marrow of my bones, but this lens shook my religious beliefs. It is worth recognizing that at the current moment for small-format arch. photographs…

Pros
  • - A rare opportunity for DSLRs to correct perspective and depth of field. Only medium (for example, Fuji GX 680) and large format (almost any cardan: Sinar, Linhof and others like them) are more serious. - High-quality constructive; - Excellent sharpness, amazing color reproduction; - Distortion tending to zero. In photographs of architecture, straight lines are like a ruler; - Very good, although very specific to landscapes. And as a semi-pro option - for architectural and interior tasks (about why only "semi" - a little lower); - You can "increase" the angle of its coverage: the shift allows you to shoot almost perfectly overlapping frames and later automatically glue panoramas from them. For example, in Photoshop, the Photomerge function using the Reposition method does an excellent job of this (see an example of such a panorama at the link below); - Makes you think, returns the photographer to the golden age of leisurely film photography. Requires getting used to and careful approach, tk. it is necessary to develop not only the motor skills of handling it, but also completely change thinking when looking for angle and plot).
Cons
  • - Price; - Shooting - actually only from a tripod; - Focusing - more accurate and reliable than just LiveView with 10x magnification. - Sometimes axis shift results in incorrect metering. When shooting, be sure to look at the histogram and make corrections, otherwise there is a risk of getting a series of defective frames; - For prof. architectural photographers, alas, is not a 100% replacement for gimbal due to: a) distortion (insignificant, but still present), b) small frame format (lack of "air" on 35 mm, inherent in large format) and c) not the a good focal length (for cramped urban conditions or for interiors, a wider angle is often required). But as a compact semi-prof. option for tasks where excessive perfectionism is not required - this lens is still indispensable. For arch-interior covens - the necessary minimum; - Appearance that attracts attention (stronger than any telephoto) and causes unnecessary questions; - Carving under the filter of 82 mm;

High-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

In the absence of new electronic fixes from Canon, I bought this tilt. I don't shoot architecture, I just shoot creatives for myself, for fun. with a tilt-shift effect. I also shot video with it, despite the absence of a mechanical aperture ring, it is great for shooting DSLR video - the picture is stable, clear, the edges are not strongly distorted. Filmed video on 5D mark III with this tilt and Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM - tilt performed much better. Received a "Highly Recommended" rating

Pros
  • Sharp, metallic, tilt-shift L-ka.
Cons
  • From the rear end of the lens, if it is removed from the camera, the electronics are visible, there is no dust and moisture protection. No mechanical aperture ring, not convenient for video shooting.

Great product, a pleasure to use.

The best wide-angle lens for the Canon system at the moment, beating even the Carl Zeiss Distagon 21mm. It makes sense to buy only for a full frame. Different pros: Perfect sharpness across the frame at an open aperture, even with shifts and tilts. Complete absence of chromatic aberrations. Excellent geometry, minimal distortion, in this parameter the lens has no equal among the widths. A mechanism that allows you to use shift and tilt independently of each other. Enormous creative…

I like this lens in SLR camera lens

I like this lens! It's fantastically sharp and the Model II doesn't need to be taken apart like the original if you want to change the way you take panoramic photos. It's not cheap, but it's worth it if you want a super-sharp 24mm lens and shift for panoramas. Of course, it also has an incline, but I don't use it often, so I can't comment on that.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some little things

If you've ever dreamed of the features of a view camera but now use a full-frame SLR, this lens will serve you 90% focus options. It's heavy, but that's due to the solid build and looks. Still, it's better than lugging around a full-featured view camera. The optics are as good as any review you've read - arguably the best lens Canon has ever made.

Pros
  • Even the elderly can understand
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

amazing lens. Fits lenses

I'll leave the specs and amazing optical quality to other reviewers. What I love about this lens is its ability to pack many of the features of a test camera into a handy package. You can tilt the plane of focus almost perpendicular to the film plane, shift the horizon to the bottom of the frame while keeping the straight verticals, and change the tilt orientation to shift them! If you understand why these are great things, you need this lens.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Available in black only

This is the one you want.

This is the product you need. Chances are that some of you, like me, who are already Canon users, have already decided to buy a tilt-shift lens, but are still undecided on which focal length to buy. If you can only buy one, that's it. I've never encountered a situation where I needed a tilt shift to a longer focal length, and I rarely wish I needed a wider angle. If you're deciding between buying a 16-35 or a TSE-24 and you're primarily shooting landscapes or architecture, that's it. I use…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons

Best wide angle lens 24mm T/S

I bought my copy of the lens in excellent condition as an upgrade from my 24/3.5 version. IT/S lens. Visually, this is a noticeable improvement - moving the lens all the way up or down doesn't result in severe vignetting in the corners like the old version of the lens. Overall, the lens is very sharp and delivers excellent image quality. I also like that the tilt and shift functions can now easily be rotated to any angle in relation to each other. Compared to my old version of this lens, I see…

Pros
  • Rugged construction

  • Non-automatic

If you miss the rear camera, hug this kid.

After years of missing widescreen cameras with their pans and tilts and of course their wonderful large film formats that together produce incredible images, I think I've found something to ease my anxiety becomes . This tilt-shift lens, when paired with a high-resolution digital SLR (such as the Canon EOS 5D Mark II), allows the photographer to produce images that rival the best medium-format camera images, increasing image quality by up to 100% can do 4 x 5" sheet film under certain…
