Bought this cartridge to use with Starbucks grinded coffee. Sadly, barely any coffee comes out, mostly water droplets and the rest of water ends up in the water reservoir under coffee mug. Tried reducing quantity of coffee, little to tight full and same result.Impression as if there is restriction of flow in the cstridge.

These are great. Take some playing around with grind size and tamping to get the right extraction rate, but the crema is good and the flavor is good. The amount of water in each shot should be adjusted, as well, as I think these pods hold less coffee than the nespresso or capmesso pods. I just retrained my espresso shot and lungo buttons to be what I wanted for my specific bean selection and tamping strength. Boom, excellent coffee

These pods let you be a "pod" barista and use your Nespresso original-line machine. I have a very old Pixie and the pods fit extremely well. Easy to clean, easy to load.HOWEVER - if you do decide to use these pods, know what you are getting yourself into! As other reviewers have noted, these pods are smaller than a typical Nespresso pod. The pieces are well made and will last. It’s easy to leave the coffee loose or pack the capsule tight. The filled capsule fits in the Nespresso machine just like a manufactured pod.

Great product! I was reluctant to purchase these capsules but I'm so glad I did. They work as advertised and I would recommend them to anyone. I so wanted to like this product. I agree that the pods were a nice heavy stainless although the rubber seals seemed flimsy. The problem with this device is that the results are inconsistent and mostly result in weak espresso. Specifically, about 1 time out of 10, the outcome is good, other times weak. It's not clear why, but I suspect that it is mainly because the capsules cannot hold sufficient coffee. I am very impressed with the CAPMESSO coffee pods. I was using another brand having to apply the foil on top every time which was a pain. My wife bought me the CAPMESSO 3 pod set and I am loving it. Easy to use. Great creama. And easy to clean. I'm going to make more espresso right now. ;-)

These little capsules and this kit do the trick. You will save a gazillion $$ over the lifetime of owning this product, compared with purchasing the pods from you-know-who vendors. Makes a great cup of creamy espresso (see how it's coming out of my machine looking already like there's milk in it - but there is not!) and all the accessories for tamping down coffee, cleaning the little pod, etc. are very thoughtful. I really wanted to like these but was unable to. They just don't fit.So I took a caliber out to make some measurements and here's what I got.These would never slide all the way in. I could finagle it around but overall it doesn't fit. It doesn't fit well and I think if you try to force it it's just going to damage the machine.Gave two stars because they look nice

Don't buy it.It was ok at the beginning, it makes espresso even though the quality is inconsistent. But after about 10-15 tries, 1-2 months, since I used it on and off. ( If i really nice a nice cup, i would use the regular pods.) now the watery result is very consistent. I don't know what is different, maybe the rubber rings are not working? These capsules work well with my Nespresso. Filling them takes practice and the flavor is related to the coffee used and grinding level. I am still experimenting. Often the flow of coffee during brewing is low, likely related to grind and packing. Work in progress but certainly a useful tool. Cleaning is a little messy. Recommend a soft wood or plastic mini spatula to get the most grains before rinsing.

it is possible, with a LOT of finagling, to get the machine to accept these pods, and to get a poor to middling cup of coffee, but that is not what morning is all about. I really want a product that can substitute for the actual nespresso pods; this one does not meet that requirement, despite advertising them as 'compatible'. (I suppose, that's technically correct.)

I got these to stop feeling so wasteful about the disposable capsules. They are brilliant, you just have to do a bit of experimentation for the right grind

The tamper is beautiful and heavy, but not needed.Just scoop, slide off excess with finger and put on lid. That achieves the light tamp and leaves the space at top. They make it sound way too complicated. I got 75 pods out of a 10oz brick of Cafe Bustelo, on sale two for $5That’s 3.3 cents a pod!

Easy clean up and great flavor. These fit perfectly and save me money. I grind my own bean you just have to make sure to not over grind or it won't go thru these. It took a couple times to get it right but great flavor and you can see the layers of a very nice shoot.
