I bought another brand a while ago and it was flimsy and broken. As soon as I opened this, I noticed that it is definitely more stable and better processed. I use it in my Genesis 2015 and it fits great. I have a large Galaxy S9+ and it fits just right. It should be able to accommodate any case size. Excellent purchase.

I used a model that plugs into a dash socket. It worked for about 6 months and then it just lost its clutch and fell into the socket. That's the real deal. Super secure in the cup holder and very durable. I drive on very bumpy and bumpy dirt roads. This holder really grips my iPhone 11 which is in a sturdy case.

The phone holder could not position the Apple 8 away from the dashboard (Honda CR-V). The phone was visible, but it was blocking the air conditioning controls on the console. I didn't really like this phone mount at first. None of the spacers they give you help with the gap in my cup holder (so it's always flimsy / never really solid for my very expensive phone). Grrr. I have a normal size cup holder! sending it back, i just used cardboard to put it in the gaps around the bracket in the cup holder. It looks a bit ghetto after all, but works fine now.
