Caran d'Ache Gouache Studio Set -15 Assorted Colors in Metal Tin Review

This is a great gouache set, I'm a fan of Caran D'ache products. I bought it to use for plein air travel. The glass is really strong and holds the paint pan really well when I put it in my backpack on the go. The only reason it dropped 4 stars is the portability, the jar is really big and thick, it can be difficult to carry and take apart when you really need to put it somewhere. work but you can't. I wish they could make a smaller one for travel and that would make it great to use!

This is my second one, I recommend it to everyone. This is a high quality product comparable to professional grade gouache. Cakes are huge and last a long time. Please do not confuse this set with Fancolor, I have both. This set is superior in consistency, texture and painting experience. I'm a big fan of Caran D'ache products. The quality is amazing. Most of their colors have an excellent lightfastness rating (this is how long it takes for a color to fade over time when exposed to indoor lighting). Your color saturation is just fantastic.
