Great laptop upgrade

I bought this card to upgrade my Alienware to AC speed. If you are unable to open a laptop or work in a computer, forget this card. In addition, some machines, such as B. HP and Lenovo machines, not compatible with this board. You can ask the ticket seller, but you're pretty much alone with that information. Download the Intel network and bluetooth drivers while you have internet access. After much research I found that pins 20 and 51 need to be covered with tape (see U-Tube video elsewhere) to

Installed yesterday, works fine so far. My 5 year old laptop now has bluetooth.

Installed yesterday and is working fine so far. My 5 year old laptop now supports bluetooth and 802.11ac networks. Relax. Windows 10 doesn't seem to support Bluetooth as well as an Android phone, but I was able to set up my headphones, Moga game controller, and Bluetooth soundbar. Haven't tried Miracast yet.

Very reliable 5GHz/2.4GHz WiFi receiver!

I bought this device with no great expectations considering how cheap it is, but I was blown away by the ease of setup and the reliability of the internet using this little dongle! Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a reliable wifi receiver but doesn't want to splurge for it!

Works good enough range

I have replaced two laptops in the house with desktops that didn't have built in wifi and I haven't wanted to run cables yet. Bought two of these, they work great. There are a few walls between our Google WiFi router/hotspot and the receivers and they are holding up well.

Great item to upgrade.

I used this to upgrade a 6 year old HP laptop that had an Intel Wireless 2230n PCI card. So far the new WiFi AC chip is working great. I've had it for a few months now and use it with Ubuntu. Works perfectly!

Just plugged it in and it worked

I have an old laptop that is having trouble connecting/staying connected to my more modern wireless router. Plugged this device into a USB port, did a 10 second adapter setup and everything worked great. Very happy with the purchase, does the job.

Upgraded WIFi and BT Replacement Card

Replaced a dead bluetooth card in my MSI laptop. It started right away and gave me 886Mbps WiFi. Very reliable Bluetooth.
