Half the price of a GM part. Works just as well, especially for a 14 year old machine. After removing the original, it turned out that the part was made in China. Don't pay the GM price for the same quality.

My mechanic installed this unit and told me to force the clips into their slot but otherwise works great! Now the turn signals on my 2009 HHR turn off after I complete a turn.

Received it yesterday but so far so good. Our mechanic quoted us a price of $170. We prayed it wasn't an electrical issue and did a YouTube search. Voila. It works.

I bought this to fix a faulty turn signal switch on a 2009 pontiac g5. It snapped easily into place, but for some reason the part came loose a bit and didn't snap into place like it should. It still works and I'm hoping it stays in place when the rest of the dashboard is put back in place, but either way I'm disappointed.

When installing this switch, this switch was not inserted or snapped into the slot because the two latches on the unit were too long. I put each one down a bit and let it click and latch and it works fine. This is an incredibly inexpensive part as the OEM part is over $60 so the fit and finish may be slightly different. Put in a 12 year old car so I figured it would last longer than the car!

I am the lady who does it myself. There are no instructions for replacing the switch, but I watched YouTube, as did hundreds of others. I was sure that the exchange would take more than an hour. I was so excited that it was replaced in less than 15 minutes. This is the beginning to the end! Involves removing the collar and taking out the old switch, then replacing it with a new switch that attaches the collar. I'm so glad I don't have to hold down the switch to rotate. worth your money. I've never seen a mention of my car but it looked and fit just right. Unfortunately my wiring harness was shorted when the lever broke. At first I thought it was defective, but when I checked my original they both had the same problem - the left turn signal didn't work. I then checked the wiring harness on the headlight and found that the contacts were bad. (a very common problem on this machine). I cleaned them and now they work great. My old turn signal switch wouldn't stay on when I gave the right signal, I had to hold the lever up so I got this one. It's actually not that hard to replace, although I'd like to know a few more things first. I saw a video on how to do this and missed a few things like tilting the steering wheel down to remove the dash cover.
