🚀 1997-2004 Honda Carbpro 16100-GCF-672 XR70R CRF70F Carburetor: Excellent Carb Assembly Upgrade Review

I had to replace the original carburetor with injectors and gaskets from a new one. The original throttle body did not fit through a notch in the carburetor body because the lug was too large on the inside. Maybe just a defect on the one I received, not sure.

After much searching and reading I bought this for a 1997 Honda XR 70, it clicked straight away. The bike started straight away, no adjustments needed right out of the box. The only problem is that the choke lever rubs a bit, which isn't a big deal. Very important !

Perfect Fit. After installation, the motorcycle started with the first kick. I had to adjust the settings, but overall I'm very happy with the quality. It came at a higher price for those specific carbs, but it was worth it. Fits my sons honda cfr70f

I was having trouble ordering the right assembly for my bike but the description of this part was exactly what I needed to make the order matched what I had to order. The order came quickly and was well packaged. There were no problems during installation, the bike started right the first time.

The bike looked and worked well with this carburetor but fuel continued to flow when it was off. Installed with new fuel filter, fuel line and clean tank. I looked inside the carburetor and found no debris inside. It appeared to be a bad needle seat or needle. Had to buy an OEM carb to get the bike up and running in time for the ride and it was only $30 more from Honda for an OEM carb that ran with no issues.

This carburetor does not fit Honda xr70r as stated in the comments. Too small. Now I can't return due to Revain's return policy. I think I've waited too long to put this article on the bike. Wasted my money and time. This is to go to the Honda order shop. Very upset about the return policy as I have a new carb that doesn't fit. I can't even contact the manufacturer as the product is from China.

Had trouble finding a carburetor replacement with the right parts for my bike. Some details fit, some don't. Supposedly there were several carburetors for this bike, mine has a mounting spacing of 42mm versus 48mm. After cleaning the carburetor several times and trying different carburetor kits to no avail, I decided to spend a lot of money and just order the crappy thing! This carburetor was an exact replacement and the bike runs great again - no more choking in the mid to high throttle range!

Updated review. A few weeks later the carburetor started leaking. The float got stuck, had to be disassembled and reassembled. I bought a more expensive carb hoping to avoid this - I'll buy a cheaper version next time. Disappointing, would not recommend.
