I received this item on time, the price was great. After installing the carburetor, it worked at a very high speed. I spent about 30 minutes adjusting the carburetor until it worked well. It worked better the next day and the more I ran the generator the better it got. But overall he did his job. . I would buy again.

I work in a repair shop and when customers leave their generators for months without turning the carburetor jet on and off, tarnished fuel crystallizes out. Typical real onan carbs retail for $450 so I suggest as a second option as we don't all have that kind of money to invest in real carbs I've used a few of these and customers are very pleased with the result are satisfied i customers do not return.

Ordered two carburetors for two different generators for two RVs. One of them won't work without a hard manual carb limiter, meaning it's set too rich or the jet is too big. I had to put a ball valve on the fuel supply line. The other works, but only when the engine has warmed up and the choke is fully open, otherwise it also runs too rich. This makes both cars unreliable and the repair fails overall.

The first carburetor I received didn't work at all when I installed it so I asked them to send a replacement. The second seems to be working fine for now and hopefully will continue to do so. I rated it 2 stars because I had to do the install twice and the install wasn't easy. The holes for the lever links were too small, making installation difficult. I chose this one because it claims to be 100% tested, but since the first one didn't work, I doubt it's true.

Although this carburetor looks exactly like the original Onan, the finish leaves a lot to be desired. The main jet and needle are grossly misaligned to the point where the needle is protruding completely from the seat! This means that fuel is simply pouring in uncontrollably, meaning the generator is not running. Since this is a finishing error, there is a chance that some aggregates are good and others are not.
