The item came out of the box rusty and unpainted, the description should be updated to reflect the actual condition of the item. Maybe the one I received didn't have an anti-corrosion treatment.

I am giving this one star because the one I received was all metal, sandblasted and not painted or coated in any way to prevent rust or corrosion. Didn't have time to wait for another one so I primed and painted it before installing it. I wasn't happy with the lack of quality control for something so vulgar and simple.

Installed in my jeep yesterday, went from hissing brakes that were driving me almost insane to my quiet but powerful brakes. Great quality replacement, mine came in silver and double checked the part number, the body/body was OEM from the same company that made the master cylinder. Make no mistake with the 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7L V8. I'm sure it will fit other years and models too, check, order once.

Where I live the local auto parts store wanted $280 for this unit. I bought from Revain but be aware body shops are reluctant to install owner bought parts so I did this installation myself at a local do-it-yourself shop. It took me 3 hours to remove the old sizzle block and replace it with the new one on a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Revain doesn't want to return the core, so either sell it or throw it away.
