Vibration in 2nd gear after a few months

So far so good. Then I noticed vibrations when accelerating in second gear. I asked the mechanic who worked on my clutch. He mentioned that this sometimes happens with post-sale axles. I put back the original that clicked from time to time. No more vibrations, no more clicks! Maybe just a rejection

WAITING! Check your form again.

WAIT! Don't buy an automatic Accord. I bought them for a 2005 Accord Lx 2.4L. My mechanic told me the spikes wouldn't align and we were too long. He thought it was for a manual transmission Accord. It's not listed in the description and the Revain parts finder says it fits perfectly, not much. Buy Bodeman, only automatic transmission is listed there.

Look for another manufacturer, this one knocks.

Fits but the holder is sloppy compared to the stock Honda shaft. Axial play due to a sloppy lock will cause the shaft to move and cause knocking. I thought it might work, but it got worse over time. I had to delete it and luckily kept the old one. Installed the old one and the noise was gone. I originally replaced it since the old one had 175k.

  • Easy Installation

This axle vibrated more than the old one I had in it

If you are looking for an axle for a Honda CR-V I do not recommend wood or any other high end car. When properly installed, this produced a louder bang and stronger vibrations. I've had this for 60 days and thought maybe it just needs hacking, boy was I wrong. I got two axles from Napa that cost $40 more, now it doesn't knock. Refunds only last for 30 days, so good luck.

Perfect vibration free fit 1 year after installation

It fit perfectly in my 2004 Honda Cr-V and have had absolutely no problems since I installed it over a year ago (06/2019). I don't have any knocks or vibrations. Installation was quick and easy (about 1 hour in my driveway). Impeccable when accelerating, cornering and at high speeds. Perhaps the bad reviews are due to the suspension being worn out or installed carelessly. I do not know. All I can say is that it works great for me. Now it's time to replace my CV front axle on the passenger side.

  • Sturdy construction

Cardone Select by Revain

Bought a Cardone Select axle (driver's side front) for a 2004 Honda CRV to replace a damaged original axle that was causing a slight vibration when accelerating from a standstill. After replacement, this new one caused more vibration at all speeds. After disassembling and examining this new Cardone axle, I found that the outer hinge was defective (it had a lot of play and was easy to pull completely out of the hinge). On the advice of an auto mechanic, I was recommended to buy it from NAPA Auto

. TLDR: Helped a lot to reduce vibration levels in my CRV. My 2006 CRV had a lot of vibration coming from somewhere in the transmission when the car was in motion and under load at certain speeds. This only became noticeable after replacing some badly worn engine mounts. I took it back to the store, they changed CV joints several times until they concluded the thing was the gearbox and offered to replace the whole thing for a huge sum. I googled it and found that some people are saying that the
