Perfect! good for dealer

I bought this for my 1994 Pontiac Trans Am. Works great. I didn't want to spend a fortune again to replace my distributor (this is the second time). It cost me over $450 the first time just for the distributor! I took the risk of buying this cheaper model and I have NO regrets! The car runs better than ever. This is the wiser choice when you need to replace a distributor.

Great guys (and guys) mine

This works great and solved my problem with my Trans-Am accidental death leaving me stranded. Remember this is a FIRST generation Optispark so it fits perfectly in my 93 Trans Am :D The car was working great until my anti-theft system started going crazy but it has nothing to do with it , so I'm totally satisfied with this part. Cardone, whatever you do, you're doing it right :)

Works great and well built.

I received this to replace the original optical spark on a 60,000 mile 1992 Corvette. The original had a noisy bearing but still worked. I've heard many horror stories about aftermarket optic spark units not working at all, but real ones are hard to find and expensive. I decided to try my luck with it. Runs great, engine is very quiet. I completely disassembled it and sealed all interfaces with Three Bond 1184 and coated all screws with Loctite. 1184 is a soft gas/oil resistant sealant, similar

I'm satisfied so far! for ignition parts

Honestly I think this is the cheapest replacement option Opti!GM no longer makes new Optisparks so what to do when the time comes? I got a '94 Firehawk that didn't work for ten years because the Opti died from a water pump leak. I did a lot of research and decided on the new Opti from Cardone. Biased mainly because GM now only offers "overhauled". Which I suspect leads to the best cores being recycled as AC Delco. I personally am not 100% sure they are getting NEW Mitsubishi sensors. So I wasโ€ฆ
