I'm satisfied so far! for ignition parts

Honestly I think this is the cheapest replacement option Opti!GM no longer makes new Optisparks so what to do when the time comes? I got a '94 Firehawk that didn't work for ten years because the Opti died from a water pump leak. I did a lot of research and decided on the new Opti from Cardone. Biased mainly because GM now only offers "overhauled". Which I suspect leads to the best cores being recycled as AC Delco. I personally am not 100% sure they are getting NEW Mitsubishi sensors. So I was uncomfortable paying a lot of money for a very limited warranty. I received the Cardone device quickly and well packaged, the Cardone lid fits well in the case. But I really wanted to solve another problem I see with Optisparks and that is ozone corrosion and that means adding a ventilation system. I used an MSD lid and rotor. At this point. Once I removed the cap and rotor, I checked the pickup wheel and found a slight runout, maybe a couple of thousand, which I gently worked back into shape. The MSD parts fitted the Cardone perfectly and the installation went smoothly. The parts were sealed with new gaskets on the timing gear cover and the LT1 took its first breath in 10 years after cranking a few times to refuel. After that, she shoots with the press of a button. Very satisfied. Of course, time will tell. But I have no reason not to believe this will be a good unit for a long time to come. I've long suspected that happy people don't complain on forums. Only those who aren't. Keep this in mind when looking for the best option for your engine.
