Carhartt Active Jacket Brown Large - Perfect Boys' Clothing for Winter with Jackets & Coats Review

Bought for my 7 year old son. He wears a size 7 skinny so the jacket is a bit big for him but he can wear a sweater underneath on very cold days and still be comfortable. We took it outside today in 45 degrees and 25 mph wind and it was perfectly warm. The jacket and zip are a bit stiff but I think this will improve over time. And let's be honest, he was impressed with the jacket, as were his dad and both his grandpas!

My grandson hates this jacket passionately. First, she's so hard that he feels like he's in prison. Second, the zipper is difficult to manage, causing frustration. He must personally ask for help. He is 12 years old.

If you don't already know, Carhartt is the real deal. You get what you pay for. My kids love Carhartt, they never complain about being cold in Carhartt jackets.

Bought it for my 6 year old nephew. It's durable enough to handle his busy lifestyle. It's machine washable and he loves it. We tried it before we bought it, the dimensions are correct.

My son really liked this jacket. It was his second Carhartt in this style, so he knew exactly what he wanted. This is a very durable and warm jacket.

Bought for my sister's son, seems to be her best jacket yet. The man who made the jacket is of course worth a lot when you see what it was like, what a brand it is.

What can I say about this company, everyone who knows their products are amazing. I've worn the same jacket for almost 20 years and it has held up beautifully. My son was recently in need of a good jacket so naturally I turned to him.

It is perfect for my 5 almost 6 year old. The only downside to this coat would be that the zipper is quite tight and difficult to close and start, maybe for some boys or girls of that age. Maybe the little one will find it easier to button his coat if it breaks.

Carhartt Brown: Average. Bought this for my 6 year old grandson in Montana. We ordered it extra large so he can use it for the next 2 seasons. He loves to! Quality cannot be beat by price. I bought a Carhartt jacket in the same color 20 years ago and it still looks and wears like new!

The jacket itself is as expected from Carhartt. It fits snugger than the regular Carhartt, which is usually a size or two larger. What pissed me off is that I got a used jacket but I paid full price for a new one! The inside was cat hair and the outside was dirt. If I didn't have to have a jacket for my daughter tomorrow I would return it. I just wash it instead. Except that the seller was mad about it. 6 (XS) barely fit my almost 5 year old, 50lbs 7/8 (s) barely fit my 6 year old, 55lbs

I know it's for boys but it was way cheaper than the girls version. And it was a little more, but that's to be expected. Worked great, kept my little one warm.

We're the Carhartt family, always have been, but the zippers on these kids' jackets have always been junk. My son was the same size before and this zipper was also impossible.

Keeps my son warm on cold days! Doesn't shrink like some jackets. He can move and play freely without any problems. Looks great too... tough style... jeans and Tims with this jacket and you're good to go.

Nice jacket, as expected, but the size in the description does not match the size on the tag. Reduce the size if using a table in the description.

These coats last forever, I mean seriously if you buy one and it doesn't hold out for at least a sibling and maybe a cousin as it's defective and the company is great with returns. It's big BUT it grows into it, THIS is my fault for buying the wrong size.

This is one of those jackets that is worn especially in very cold weather. Winter storms and Co. Too difficult for autumn/spring IMHO.

My cool little guy wanted a jacket like his dad wears. The fabric is stiff but washable and we bought it slightly larger to allow it to grow into it.

Love Carhart, the jacket was in great brand new condition but it was difficult, we live in Florida so there won't be enough time to break it in so we decided to buy a used one which was a little higher price than the true size, but it was returned!

I bought this coat for my 4 year old son when I was young. He is large for his age, after reading reviews of other purchases regarding sizing I decided to skip the size chart and get him a small one. I'm so glad it was perfect, there's even room to grow. As always, a quality product from Carhartt. She is strong, warm and just like dads. He loves to!
