Doesn't support microphones on Android head units

Connect this to Ownice K6 High. The CarPlay part works fine but the microphone doesn't pick up any sound at all. Even when I scream, it's barely noticeable. I can't find gain settings and Bluetooth connections aren't working properly. So. And IMHO it's not worth it.

Function. Bluetooth head unit needs to be disabled

This product has its bones. Allow the Android head unit to be used with CarPlay. It is alámbrico por lo que requiere connectar el iPhone. It is important to disable the Bluetooth head unit for it to function. De otra forma se cae el programa al activarse ambas cosas. Recommended. Es mas, pienso compare el inalámbrico

iOS don't like this dongle

I would not recommend buying this dongle for Apple users. Apple wrote code into its iOS to detect aftermarket CarPlay this way and it will no longer work. I bought this dongle, it worked for about a week and now when I connect nothing happens and the dongle doesn't recognize my phone. It's a shame and I wish I hadn't spent money on it 😔

Works perfectly! - Update: no

like other keys, only 20$ cheaper. Works perfectly! Update: buggy. Any audio playing from my phone starts and then stops immediately. I go through this 3 to 5 times at the start of each ride. Also, this device does not have a secondary volume. This means that using Google Maps while listening to media will hurt your ears when directions are announced. I live with that, but I'm not impressed.

I use it for CarPlay and it does the job

I use it with an Android tablet I have in my car, for the sound it works great except for a few things. When the tablet connects to bluetooth we lose connection and I have to disconnect and reconnect everything to connect. Doesn't charge the phone well and quickly drains the tablet's battery when used on a system like mine. Other than that, this is a great product. I'm actually considering buying a wireless.

A must have if you have an aftermarket head unit

I love being able to play Car on my head unit it makes life so much easier. Definitely recommend if you have an aftermarket head unit. I had some problems with the device. One thing I found if you want to get this device. My USB ports weren't providing enough power to the device, causing dropouts, freezing, and other issues. I was able to fix this with a simple Y splitter cable to give the device more power and it's been nothing short of a dream ever since. It should also be added that the…
