Carlson H2303 Rear Brake Hardware Review

Worked very well, replaced with a set and both shoes and cylinder worked as expected and have not broken in the last few months.

Worked as intended, I recommend having brake tools on hand it can save you time and hassle. Otherwise you may have trouble placing the springs that hold the shoes in place.

If you work with brakes like me you will need to replace the hardware as it is usually rusted, bent or broken. Don't change your brakes without having this kit handy or you might bump into other parts lol. Fits perfectly, reasonable price. Delivery as expected. Well satisfied.

Seriously, probably the best piece of equipment I've ever worked with drum brakes. Most manufacturers will send you a bag full of broken colored springs and you'll have to pay close to $20 a side for the adjusters. This Carlson kit has a quality rating of 10/10. In fact, I won't even look at other sets if this one becomes available in the future. Thanks.

Great kit, I've been a mechanic for decades. And in my experience, these hardware kits are always missing something. My biggest annoyance is the horseshoe clip that holds the swinging emergency brake lever. It and the wave washer always seem to be on the bottom so they need to be carefully removed and reused.
