    Thin hollow metal a dog can bend!

    Very affordable. My dog was able to bend and break it in two months. The weld needs to be heavily reinforced to keep it from falling apart. In addition, the gate itself must have bottom protection to keep it in place when latched. However, when it is locked, the upper part stays in place, but the dog can step on the lower part and pull it forward or backward. If the dog is strong enough, the metal is so thin and hollow that it can bend the metal and stress the welds. So it collapses!

    I have Great Danes and 3 of these gates all 41 inches tall along with a 10" x 7" cat gate. smaller, only 36 inches tall and with a tiny 8x8 cat door for the same price. The box even has the same model number as my 0941. The product description contains an old photo of a 41" gate with a 10x7 door on all websites that are sold. It's an absolute shame that they reduce the quality to pass off as the best. Model.This is NOT an extra tall gate.This is a scam.DO NOT BUY THIS GATE OR FROM THIS COMPANY.

    I would like to receive the gate I ordered.

    The gate we received is not the gate shown in the photo. We wanted the gate to be shown as it has an easy to use and quiet lift latch. The gate we received has a spring loaded latch which I don't think is as easy to use as the other one. Plus, the spring latch wakes the pup every time it opens or closes.     Cheap replacement.

    This version of the Carlson Pet Gate Extra Large is a cheap replacement for the 41" Carlson Pet Gate Extra Large ordered in 2018. My first purchase was a well made, very solid white one All metal block that didn't require any additional parts to screw the block to the wall to be able to place it.The product I last received (and returned) is a 36" gray metal and plastic unit .This is not the item that was ordered so the seller misled him.Aside from just being wobbly this gate is noticeably worn,

    It really needs basic support. The cat flap is too big.

    I bought this for my two dogs while visiting a friend. Unfortunately the house she rents is older so the patio where the dogs spend most of their time is an annexe and we couldn't get the gate to be flush with the ground. This left those tiny studs to support the weight of the dogs when they were feeding when excited and leaning against the gate.     Durable, easy to install.

    The assembly and installation instructions that came with this gate are the best I've seen on any product! I'm not particularly accommodating and was afraid I would have to find help to assemble and install the gate. But even though I'm 68 years old, it really wasn't that hard.     This is a good product but with one major flaw. I bought this to give my feline sized Chihuahua mix a separate room from my Beagle/Basset mix.
