Mounting holes didn't match at all but I managed. Completely fixed our problem. Tip: If you're not sure if the fuel pump is bad, like we are, run it until it stops working, then open the carburetor. Bowl drain plug on the bottom of the carburetor. and see if gas comes out.

The fuel pump only works intermittently sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't I put a filter on it I can see but I don't can't you pump me all the time you can still send one please, i'll send it back. I don't have to send it back until I can get another one

Looks like an exact replacement. But not really. The clamps are ok, as is the hose fitting. Do not remove the bottom hose clamp, the screw type will not work! Too big for the hole in the base. Works fine but the mounting holes are slightly wrong! I had to mount a screw outside of the "slot". I had to put washers on the screws to get a better "bite" for stability. Overall works for the price.

Bought this pump to replace my 2006 onan generator in my RV (gas). Easy replacement and works well. Don't throw away the old piece. You need a tip that goes into the carburetor area. If you want to replace this pump, pay extra and get a fuel filter. I paid $140 to replace the filter (it was $20) and it is attached to the fuel pump. I replaced this pump for less than $30. Works very well so far. Just not an easy to install unit. I have a Class A with a 5500 Onan engine that already has the fuel pump replaced with a box type pump and the original fuel line fittings replaced. As a retired auto mechanic, I had to cut and reshape a bracket. The problem is the location of the fuel line that runs through the generator mounting base. As a result, I had to enlarge the original hole to clean out the fuel line. Someone simply placed the pump bracket in the wrong place on…
