Carmtek keyless home door lock was very easy to install, the direction was clear and precise. Once installed, it worked just as advertised. All the necessary materials are supplied with the device, including a gasket that hides the imperfection of the design around the door. Must-RV locks do not include the gasket, you must request it. Luckily I didn't need a gasket because the lock block is perfect for my RV.

I had some problems with my first purchase, which customer service tried to fix for me. The lock wouldn't accept a zero as part of my passcode and I had battery issues that got fixed. Carmtek staff sent me a new complete door lock free of charge. I installed it and it works as it should and I'm happy with the performance and ease of use. Just what we need. Do several family members need access to the motorhome? That's it. Easy to install, clearly written instructions and programmed keychains! A little problem. The latch of the outer door is small, two fingers small, the edges are not flat. I solved this problem by cutting a small section of the sticky foam backing and attaching it to the inside edge of the outside handle. Overlays on rough edges of a cast metal latch. PS, use a new strike plate.

This lock is better than the other one I've tried with fewer numbers. It's easy to install, took me about 15 minutes and the installation is easy to program and change codes. It seems very durable. I was very hesitant to buy this at first because of the price, but after installing and using it I will never use anything else again. They covered every base with this thing. You can use FOB or enter your secret code or even go back to old school and use the key.
