VSM looks good on paper. However, when you actually use it you find that the UI is very confusing and does not allow you to do much without lots of trial and error.

There are very few examples of people using the tool successfully and most of those examples are only of a couple of screens being used and then never again mentioned again. I was promised "an easy to use tool" and "a quick way to reach your prospects". I was given neither. The tools work great for managing all the contacts within…

Pros
  • Very easy to setup a new account, the templates are easy to customize.
  • You can make a contact a lead which will then follow up with automated emails about opportunities that match their interests
Cons
  • No easy way to integrate with any CRM system
  • So you must go through every single record to add a business name or even worse have multiple names.
  • Only option is to enter each contact by hand.

We hired them because of the lead generation feature.

We hired them because of the lead generation feature. Our dealership does mostly used cars and used car dealerships use CarNow to generate leads from potential customers. It was simple to set up and once we had our user base, we were generating leads at a rate we could handle. It was a great tool to add to our arsenal of lead generation tools. I really liked how they handled customer service when it came time to do maintenance on our account. They always kept me updated as to what steps needed…

  • It is easy to add new accounts through their API so there is no limit on the amount of accounts we could add.
Cons
  • If you have accounts with other companies, they aren't able to access those accounts without having to create separate accounts for each company.

This is a great tool for any car dealer who sells online.

The product has loads of features and was easy to use. I would recommend it if you are looking for a software to manage your sales activities. It's only thing I found lacking was some integration with other software used in the business such as MS Project, Quicken etc.I did have some problems getting my sales team to use it effectively though. Overall it's worth trying and the trial version gives you enough functionality to test it before you purchase it. The product provides lots of functions…
